Dr. Amanda Blaisdell joined the Health, Athletic Training, Recreation and Kinesiology (HARK) Department in Fall, 2017 after spending 7 years teaching secondary health and physical education and one year teachng human biology and human anatomy and physiology at the Community College of Vermont. She holds a Doctor of Health Education, an MAT in Secondary Education and a BS in Kinesiology Pedagogy. She is also a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).

Dr. Blaisdell's research interests include human sexuality, teacher education/preparation, service learning in health promotion, public health programming, public health policy, healthcare policy, behavior theory, population health, and just about any other topic related to contemporary health issues.
